I need to Warn everyone before i say to much.This game is Very early access! . it realy need alot before it even are possible to play for real . It is more testing right now and help the developer with feedback.you cant even run around for 5 min before you run out of food(now fixed). It is almost impossible to turn around when you close to run out of food . When you finaly find a banan or coconuts on the ground . You cant eat it because you cant press "y" because it stand as gamepad option (now fixed).This game need alot of fixed and features , maybe some rework in grafic . But I always wanted to play a game where you are a animal trying surviving in a real simulator . Right now you can walk though trees and lot of the layout on the ground , there are not much sound in the game , the way the gorilla move and how smooth it feel is realy bad . it realy need alot of work before it would feel fun to play. But this idea for a game like this is so awesome . The idea that play a animal simulator from a perspective of a gorilla . i love that . The game is cheap , Everyone have a chance to give feedback to the developer to help with errors and feature in the future . I hope eveyone would look on this game with open eyes and maybe try give the developer a chance . Large trees such as Coconut, Kapok, banyan now provide shelter from rain and storms.. Update Live: Fixed some issues regarding vegetation and lighting. Improved terrain and texturing. Theses fixes have also brought a nice 5+fps boast to the game. Test PC now getting 45-50FPS.. Update 27/04/18: We have added more leopards to test troop interactions. AI gorillas will now attack leopards to defend the troop/player.Randomised some values for the gorillas so they act differently to each other.. Latest Update Live: Hi all, We are back with a working updatable game!The first of the 3-4 updates rewriting the Gorilla AI and social interactions are live. It is now much clearer the effect on the female gorillas of achieving tasks like feeding, making a nest, achieving loyalty. A couple of important bug fixes have also been added. Branches for making nests were occasionally disappearing under the terrain, this should no longer happen making it much easier to find branches to build nests.rescaled the minimap so it is less cluttered and easier to see items close by.Added nest icon (home) so no longer need the smoke signal on nests.A couple of nice improvements along with the fixes:-The terrain is now twice the Size at 4 square kilometres.Certain errors that have fixed have resulted in a huge increase in frame rate along with denser vegetation. My test machine now runs at an average of 90fps from 60fpsCouple of ideas I am testing:-Adding icons to make even clearer regarding the troop needs.Adding a sense button which will then add an outline to items of interest within a radius. Potentially, animals, food, branches, nests. to help locate them.Adding a call button to any nearby female gorillas.There is still more progress to be made in regard to player feedback and more interactions. The infant gorillas have a lot more work to be done once you have gotten to the mating stage and they will be the focus of the last AI update once the female Gorillas are finished.Andy. New Update out now: A step closer to release.More animals added. Rhino, hippo, lion, lioness, crocodile, and elephants. Baby Gorillas coming soon.: Hello everyone, just a quick progress report on the gorilla AI. We now have female gorillas capable of giving birth to babies under the right conditions. This is being tested internally but should be live in the next day or two.Lots of behaviours will be added to the babies as they grow (pun intended) but basic functionality is in place. Final Testing of procedural terrain: Hello all,Sorry for the quiet week we have been having issues getting the procedural terrain to work correctly. We are very close now and should release the new system this weekend. We are just testing other features have not been broken by the new system but we now have a procedural world which is almost infinite in size.We will then refocus on filling the world with AI animals and the gorilla troop/infant system.After that we should have an announcement on the small price rise before we transition out of early access.. New Update 11/04/18: Evening all, there is a new update live which adds steam leaderboards for testing. Once the scores start showing we will update with UI. This is a testing leaderboard so will be subject to change. Currently it just adds a score based on time survived but in future in will include number of offspring, size of troop achieved etc....There is also a few tweaks to the Leopard AI with attack changes and sounds added.Fight mode now automatically enables when a predator is nearby. This is a test and subject to change so please let us know which you prefer.Andy
